Annual Canberra Rabaul and Montevideo Maru Functions:
Luncheon, 28 June 2014, and Memorial Service, 29 June 2014
The Rabaul and Montevideo Maru Group will again be holding the Annual luncheon at the Mercure Hotel in Canberra on Saturday 28 June 2014, followed by a Service at our Memorial at the Australian War Memorial on Sunday 29 June 2013. The details planned are in this document.
In the past, these get-togethers have been a great opportunity for family members to share memories, photos, etc., and we hope that you will be able to join us this year, where we are very fortunate to have Dr Marian May as our guest speaker.
The Mercure Hotel is offering a discount on accommodation for Members of the Group: $160/night for singles, including breakfast, and $175/night for two, including breakfast.
